Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is the Japanese word for Universal Life Force Energy. Rei means spirit, aura or subtle energy and Ki means life force energy or power. Reiki is an ancient healing system that can be experienced by ‘hands on’ and ‘distant’ healing. Reiki involves the transfer of energy from practitioner to client in order to enhance and support the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Reiki is not a religion. It is a healing system that allows the practitioner to channel loving, healing energy from the source into other living things.

Reiki is taught in 3 Levels

Reiki Level – 1

In Reiki 1 you will learn to channel the Reiki energy through your hands. Training takes place over a 1 day period. It’s a fun and relaxing day, which for many can be the catalyst for great Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual healing. Once you have been attuned to Reiki 1 you can now give Reiki to plants, animals, yourself, the earth and friends and family. You will not yet be able to charge a fee for giving Reiki to the public.

Cost for Reiki 1 course: $250.00 (This includes a comprehensive manual, Certificate of Attendance and morning tea.)

Reiki Level – 2

Training takes place over a one day period, throughout which time you will receive one attunement to ignite the three Reiki 2 symbols which are used for increasing the power of your reiki, sending distant healings and techniques for mental and emotional clearing. You will also learn space clearing techniques using reiki. After the completion of Reiki 2 you can now charge members of the public for Reiki sessions. You should always get professional indemnity insurance and join the relevant professional organisations for your modalities.

Reiki Level – Master

This is a two day course, run on consecutive Sundays, during which you will receive an Usui Masters attunement that connects you to the energies allowing you to teach Reiki. You will be shown how to attune students to the loving energy of Reiki so that you will come out as a teacher of Reiki in your own right so you can carry on the long Reiki tradition.
