Alkaline Quinoa Salad

Alkaline Quinoa SaladThis healthy and filling salad is a great recipe especially if you’re looking to increase your alkalinity.

The variety of ingredients makes for interesting textures and flavours. Give this one a go and let us know what you think:

Ingredients

15 cherry tomatoes
1 handful of raw quinoa
1 carrot
1 avocado
1 beetroot
1 handful of baby peas
1 handful of basil
1 pinch of rosemary
Dress with olive oil with lemon juice
Salt and Pepper to Taste

Instructions

While the quinoa is cooking, lightly steam the baby peas.

Cut the carrots and the beetroot into matchsticks, cut the basil into small pieces and slice up the avocados.

Cut the cherry tomatoes in halves, drizzle with olive oil and grill until browned.

By this time, the quinoa and baby peas should be done.

Take all of the ingredients and mix them together in a large salad bowl.

Dress with olive oil and lemon juice. Serve immediately.
